Licensing for Internet Gambling Casinos
There are basically two types of licenses as far as internet casinos are concerned. The first kind is the gaming license, which is issued by the government of the country wherein you want to establish your Internet casinos. The purpose of this document is to allow you, as the Online Casinos operator, to legally accept wagers and bets.
The second type is a software license. This is issued by an internet gambling casinos software provider, and basically allows you the right to use their casino software, for which you have to pay a fee. In many instances, there is also a royalty fee that you have to pay every month, which is usually a percentage of your earnings from the use of their Internet casinos software.
Virtually all of these online gambling casinos software providers have a standing agreement with one or more countries where it is legal to operate Internet casinos. There are quite a few of these countries all over the world although for various reasons, many of them are located in the Caribbean or Latin American regions. As a result of these agreements, these companies will either have the exclusive “Master License” with which they can grant you the rights to operate your Internet casinos, or they will have the legal authority to get you a gaming license.
